It was one of those weeks where every single day managed to feel like a Friday, even though it was only a Tuesday. Needless to say, it really felt like 2 weeks meshed into one. It's nice to know that this holiday weekend is a teeny bit longer and is going to be filled with wakeboarding, sun tan lotion, and taking in my happy place - Smith Mountain Lake.

It's crazy to think how fast this summer went, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't ready for fall, bringing back my dark hair (seriously, feigning for it), and all things pumpkin-flavored. Hi, Sam Adams Oktoberfest. Mmm...
