When I first met Monica, we hit it off immediately. A girl who loves makeup, hair and playing dress up just as much as I do? How could we not love each other? Seriously, it was love at first sight. Then I met Roxy. Now this girl can make the most incredible and most gorgeous jewelry you ever did see. Then there was Kristin, an avid photographer who takes stunning photos and can get me to relax during a photo shoot – now that’s an accomplishment. Ok, so maybe I had a glass (or two) of Pinot Grigio, but hey anything helps. Am I right?
Now when you take four women who are passionate about what they do, you can’t go wrong. All four of us each take creativity up a notch with our different, yet similar perspectives when it comes to fashion. I knew I just had to feature these #GirlBosses and their incredible talents on my blog, like yesterday.
Cue: the most gorgeous polka dot dress (naturally, I had to buy this after the shoot. It wasn’t really a want – it was more of a need.). As I zipped up the back, I knew I would forever be smitten over this little number. I mean c’mon, this LPDD (little polka dot dress) is a stunner! Then there was the moon necklace – oh boy. This dainty piece is gorgeous on its own, but when layered it’s even more stunning. *Ladies, take note – layering jewelry is always a must.
Well here goes nothing – this is Part I of my collaboration with some talented Roanoke and Salem ladies. Can we say, shop local? Shop local.
