A week full of extremely hot temps/sweating like whoa, catching up with friends over bubbly and a Friday morning full of coffee – has made it a good week, but hey I’m ready for the weekend.
Here are a few of my favorites this week. Like always, they’ll eventually change – you know how it goes.
Jamming to: I love me some feel-good music, especially while driving in the car with the windows down. Ok so maybe this week they were up and the AC was on full blast (hello 97 degrees Fahrenheit, you are not welcome here), but you get the idea.

Makeup of choice: NYX Retractable Eyeliner in ‘deep blue’. It looks amazing when paired with chocolate/bronze eye shadow or even a little green shadow. I love this stuff.
Bikini of the week: You all know by now that I’m pretty much obsessed with swimwear (at least recently), which means it’s only appropriate to add this category. I got this little number from Victoria’s Secret (white top and lime green bottoms) and I can’t wait to rock it on the boat. I love the scallop pattern, however, I’m still debating if I want to keep the top or not.
Thing I want to do this weekend: Head to the lake! A week full of hot temps and work means this girl is ready for some serious sunshine. Why does it always happen to rain on Fridays? Seriously.
Something that made me happy: The sweet little note from an anonymous co-worker. It made my week! J
Watching: Season 2 of True Detective. After binge watching the first season a few months ago, I’ve been counting down the days till the premiere of the second season and boy did it not disappoint!
