K hi. It's been awhile, everyone. With this cold and damp weather hitting the Carolinas, it's not a big surprise that pretty much everyone I've talked to has been in a little post-Daylight Savings Day (pitch black at 5:30pm isn't working for me, ok) slump. On that note, a trip to the Bahamas sounds pretty amazing, right? Considering the weather has me in some type of mood and my skin needs some major TLC in the form of Vitamin D, I think a little vacay sounds like a pretty great idea.
CUE: BAHAMAS TRIP!
Ryan (hi, boyfriend! you the cutest) and I decided to book a spontaneous little getaway trip at the perfect damp time. So what's next? Well, I mean I never expected to be slipping into a bikini in November, but hey here we are. Needless to say, the gym has been our thing these past few days. Oh and you guys, I'm seriously a lot stronger than I thought, thanks to Ryan. Free weights are no joke, it actually hurts typing this out. I can't make this up.
Anyways with our bags packed and the thought of being on a beach in HOURS, you know I'm freaking out like a 6-year-old girl!! Aside from being so caught up in this trip, these past few weeks have made me realize that oh my goodness the holiday's are almost here. Wait...wasn't it just the Fourth of July? Wasn't I just sipping on rosé in a sun dress with friends on a porch and not shivering in a fur vest??? Too specific? You get what I'm putting down. Basically, how the heck is it November?! With Thanksgiving only days away and Christmas just weeks, I'm in disbelief. Also I'm guilty of listening to Christmas music. My playlist "Christmas YAY!" (did you expect anything less?) is top listened to on my Spotify account and it's not even December yet.
On that note, it's time to get my stuff together for our night in Savannah (pre-cruise vacation!!). Have a great weekend!
